This was my daughters' first year in dance classes..... and I LOVED it. This whole year has brought back so many memories from my own dance, gymnastics, baton twirling days...... the leotards, dance shoes, costumes, tights, bobby pins, hairspray, make up, etc. I just LOVE it all!!! This past weekend it all culminated in their first dance recital! As a VERY proud momma.... I just have to share some pics of my two little tiny dancers! :)
I can't wait to see whats in store for us next year!! :)
Wow.... anyone who knows me, knows I have a major shopping addiciton to Matilda Jane Clothing. I find their clothing second to none in terms of quality & cuteness. Their outfits are the perfect portriat clothing in my opinion because the mix of colors, textures, and patterns brings such interest to the images. It is so easy to mix & match their pieces with each other too, which is one of the things I love most about MJC.
For the release of their newest line, Serendipity, I wanted to create a really fun session for my friends & clients who purchased MJC from my trunk show! I had the fabulous , Trisha Varney Photography Designer, create some super amazing set designs for this shoot! We had a blast capturing all of our adorably sweet MJ models in this super-fun shoot!!!

It was so much fun getting to see Miss A again. I loved watching her grow last year & now she is 19 months old & cute as a button! We had a great time exploring Palm Beach while capturing some fun new images for her family. Here are a few of my favorites from our session last week....
Who doesn't love the fair? Rides.... games.... delicious fair treats... all so much fun! I was so excited that when I suggested the fair as a location for family photos to the C family, they all jumped on board & thought it was a smashing idea! We had a BLAST!!! I loved all of the great colors & lights & textures that we had at the fair... it truly was a fabulous backdrop for any FUN photo session....

I was so excited to meet Miss C this morning for her newborn session. She was a sleepy little thing for me... such a sweet doll baby! It was especially fun to meet her because I photographed her momma's maternity session back in October.

When I saw the theme for this week's I Heart Faces challenge, I knew immediately I wanted to enter this image I captured of Ellie last week. My little Ellie is so sweet & silly and full of giddiness here & I just adore this image....so much so that I am pretty sure a big canvas needs to be ordered of it soon! :) I just feel like it captures all of her happiness into one image!

As you can see... I've had a nice mix of work.... family, kids, newborn, baby, pets, super heroes... etc! It's been a great month!

Boy oh Boy.... August has been the month for newborns for me so far! I've really enjoyed being able to capture so many cuties in their first week of life! Fall newborn spots are also booking up quickly... only about 2 spots remain for September & October is full (might be able to squeeze in ONE more)... So if you are wondering when to contact me for your newborn portraits, the answer is NOW! :)

I loved meeting the adorable Miss E for her newborn session a few weeks ago. She was such a sleepy baby for me & let me pose her however I wanted to!! I enjoyed creating these colorful images for her family! Thanks so much for choosing me to capture this special time in her life!!
Little X came back to visit me again... this time celebrating his 1st Birthday!! I have enjoyed watching him grow & change this year... from his newborn session... to a family holiday session last November... and now this sweet & smiley ONE year old!! Yesterday we had a wonderful session starting out on the beautiful Carousel in Palm Beach Gardens then heading down to some fun spots in West Palm Beach! I think the highlight for X was the playtime in the fountains at the end of the night.... he just seemed to LOVE that!
