This was my daughters' first year in dance classes..... and I LOVED it. This whole year has brought back so many memories from my own dance, gymnastics, baton twirling days...... the leotards, dance shoes, costumes, tights, bobby pins, hairspray, make up, etc. I just LOVE it all!!! This past weekend it all culminated in their first dance recital! As a VERY proud momma.... I just have to share some pics of my two little tiny dancers! :)
I can't wait to see whats in store for us next year!! :)
I've known this family for 2 years now. Little A has been in my daughter's preschool class for the past 2 years & they've become good friends. I was so honored when his family asked me to capture some new family images that they can give to their family back home in Italy! We had GREAT weather last weekend at the Juno Beach Pier! It was so much fun meeting the G family last night for a fabulous family photoshoot! My always amazing session designer, Trisha Varney, created the perfect kick-off to summer shoot for us! The kids had a blast with the oranges & limes! I have been wanting to do a shoot with oranges & limes for awhile... ever since I saw Megan Cristello Photography do a shoot with this theme back in 2009 (which was inspiration for this session).... I've been storing up this idea since then until a few weeks ago when Trisha texted me a picture of this amazing turquoise cooler.... and then the idea took off! A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with two very talented local photographers on a shoot that for me was such a creative outlet! I headed up to Palm City, FL with Sandra Bianco Photography and Brooke Logue Photography to photograph some absolutely adorable cuties with some beautiful horses! The warm sun.... beautiful kiddos.... and great company made this shoot such a fun experience! What was even better was getting to photograph some amazing neckalces by Isla Charm Designs - be sure to check her out for gorgeous M2M Matilda Jane pieces!!! This is just the first I am posting here of a gorgeous session I did with this theme! This session featured this incredible 8 ft by 6 ft rainbow that was hand-made by my amazing set designer, Trisha Varney. I explained my "vision" for the shoot & she went with it & created the perfect larger than life rainbow for me! I just love it!

I mean, adorable, quality tutus that also stand up for girl power & help to make a difference.... PERFECT!

One of the greatest joys of my job is getting to watch families grow & change. I love when clients choose me again and again to continue to document their families' growth. One of these families is the fabulous W family.... I first met them almost 2 years ago for X's newborn photos.... and then got to see them several times over the past two years.... here, and here, and here.... and earlier this week I was so excited to see them again to help welcome the newest member of the family... baby M. Sweet Baby M was the perfect newborn model for me! He slept the entire time & pretty much let me and my friend Tristine (from T Davis Images) pose him however we wanted. I also LOVED capturing some shots of M with his adorable big brother!

It was so much fun working with A for some fun "tween" photos to show off her fabulous personality!!! We had a blast exploring all of the fun nooks & crannies at Downtown at the Gardens. This was the perfect place for a tween shoot!

Wow.... anyone who knows me, knows I have a major shopping addiciton to Matilda Jane Clothing. I find their clothing second to none in terms of quality & cuteness. Their outfits are the perfect portriat clothing in my opinion because the mix of colors, textures, and patterns brings such interest to the images. It is so easy to mix & match their pieces with each other too, which is one of the things I love most about MJC.
For the release of their newest line, Serendipity, I wanted to create a really fun session for my friends & clients who purchased MJC from my trunk show! I had the fabulous , Trisha Varney Photography Designer, create some super amazing set designs for this shoot! We had a blast capturing all of our adorably sweet MJ models in this super-fun shoot!!!
