I was so excited when I received this in the mail yesterday from one of my recent clients! Dr. Nick Palmieri had me create some new headshots for him a few months ago. It was so neat to flip the book over & see my photo there in print! Love that! So, of course, I had to photograph it for the blog... and give a shout out to Nick on his new book which you can find here... Thanks Nick!

Meet 5 week old Baby Sawyer... beautiful, perfect, about 8 lbs of pure cuteness. A client of mine (Sawyer's aunt) contacted me recently and asked if I could do a session for little Sawyer to capture all of her sweetness while she is so little. I was honored to be the one to capture Sawyer in her early days for her Daddy and her loving famiy, and hoping to honor her late mother in a few of the images as well. While Sawyer's family has been through a crazy emotional journey over these past 5 weeks or so... it was amazing to see how they all work together to take care of this sweet little blessing.
Sawyer was born on March 12th... her momma, a beautiful young woman, who was a 2nd grade teacher (like me), sadly succumbed to a pulmonary embolism 12 hours after Sawyer's birth, which ended up taking her life a few days after that. My client, Jordan, mentioned to me that her sister always wanted to be a mother... and that they are all so happy that she was able to achieve that in her far too short life. Sweet baby Sawyer is just as precious as can be and is surrounded by love from her daddy and grandparents, friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. In fact I met several family members who had stopped by the house while we were doing the shoot. It is amazing to see the wonderful network of support they have.
I truly hope that you all will enjoy having these images of Sawyer. It was my pleasure to photograph her and I am so glad we could include some special photographs to honor Sawyer's momma too. Thank you for choosing me to document this sweet little miracle baby!

I enjoyed meeting sweet baby S today and his lovely family. S, at 8 days old, was a champion sleeper for me... which I LOVED! We had a wonderful session & captured some super cute images! I absolutely enjoyed meeting the C family & their adorable girls tonight! Their daughters are 16 months apart like my girls are, so it was fun for me to "re-live" this age.... Little Miss G is 3 months old, so we were capturing some 3 month portraits for her. Her cutie big sister B is 19 months old & full of energy & personality! It was a fun session, that kept me on my toes! Thank goodness for bubbles too... they were definitely a HIT at this session! :) I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek. It was a pleasure working with you & I enjoyed capturing your girls' personalities on camera! :)

I have really enjoyed taking some time to capture my own little princesses recently.... Just wanted to share a few of my favorites of my *almost* 4 year old & my 2.5 year old... they are just so much fun & FULL of personality! :) Some of these shots will be hanging on canvas in my house very soon! :)
